Adding or Deleting Attachments to Form One

 

This occurs when a user begins the process to submit a Form One in LiveCycle, but is unable to attach supporting documentation. When the user clicks on the Attachment button, all of the icons are grayed out and they cannot select anything in the Attachments pane.

 

Form One and/or its attached sub form(s) contains digital signatures. Once the form has been digitally signed, you cannot add or delete any attachments. This disables the attachment feature of adding new attachment(s) or deleting attachment(s).

 

To resolve this error:

1.      First, clear all signed digital signature fields by right-clicking on the digital signature and selecting the Clear Signature option.

If the digital signature(s) belong to another recipient, then you will need to route the form back to them so they can clear their signature.

 

2.      The Attachment button will be enabled and you can now attach the supporting documentation to the form.

3.      After you have attached all supporting documentation, then you can sign the form and re-route the form for digital signatures if needed.
