Routing to
the next user causes Security Error
This error occurs when a user
began the process to submit a Form One in LiveCycle, but is unable to route the
form to the next recipient. Instead, they get an error message that states:
Data
from this site is blocked to avoid potential security risks. If you trust this
document, add the host “wcms01:8001” to Privileged Locations (in Enhanced Security
preferences) to receive data.
If you have PDF workflows that are
negatively impacted by enhanced security, you can add these files, folders
(each level must be added separately), and hosts to the list of Privileged
Locations to specifically exempt them from enhanced security.
To resolve this issue:
When you get this message, click
OK:

When you click OK in the popup
message there will be a yellow bar at the top of the PDF Form in LiveCycle:

Click on Options on the far right
and Select “Add host to Privileged Locations”. You might have to get out of the
form and then go back in for it to start working, but it usually starts working
right away.
To resolve this via Adobe Acrobat:
1.
Open Adobe Acrobat
2.
Select “Edit.” Under Edit, select “Preferences…”

3.
Under Categories, select “Security (Enhanced)”

4.
Select “Add Host”

5.
Enter the host name “http://wcms01:8001/lc/libs/ws/index.html”
and click OK

6.
Select “OK” after you have finished adding the privileged host name

You might have to refresh the
Adobe LiveCycle Workspace page and access your Form One in order for it to
start working properly.
