VPN Requests in TDX (Process in Body)

Summary

For IT Staff: Please use the listed (https://services.dot.nm.gov/TDClient/138/Portal... link for VPN requests. Using the link and following the instructions will allow the ticket to go through the proper approval process. VPN tickets will need to go through the security office.

Body

For VPN requests we can use the TDX ticketing system to submit a ticket, link below.

Steps:

  1. Select I.T. Resource Request (Blue Icon)
  2. Fill in the required information with a red asterisk *
  3. Under “Select Ticket Request Type” select “Change Access or Equipment
    1. This will open the options to select additional options; scroll down to “Request Selects”, ¾ down the page.
  4. Select “Network Access”, a drop down appears
  5. Select your needed network access technology, most likely you want VPN – DOT Issued Computer (CheckPoint).
  6. Once the request comes through, I’ll approve it from my side and our team can assign your crew member the permissions.
